The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has added some much-needed depth to its Bantamweight division.

This past weekend, it was officially announced that Chico Camus, a 135-pound fighter out of Roufusport Gym in Milwaukee, Wisc., had signed with the world's leading mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion.

It was during an intermission at Friday night's NAFC event that Camus took to the center of the cage to make the announcement, drawing big cheers from the local crowd.

No word on when he'll make his UFC debut as Camus had recently pulled out of a May 15 fight because of injury.

"King" Camus was in the midst of a three fight winning streak which included consecutive victories in the Legends of Fighting Championships "Tachi Tournament" over a pair of top fellow bantamweight prospects.

Due to his signing with UFC, the 11-3 fighter had to withdraw from the Tachi Tournament and will reportedly be replaced by Sergio Pettis in the tournament finals.

Camus was within reach of the UFC back in late 2010 after a six fight win streak, but had his momentum halted by WEC veteran Jameel Massouh. He had already fought three times in 2012 with three unanimous decision victories.

How do you think Camus will fair in the UFC bantamweight division, Maniacs?
