Bellator Fighting Championships returns TONIGHT (May 4, 2012) to Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario, Canada with the continuation of the welterweight tournament and a big non-title fight.
MMAmania.com will provide LIVE blow-by-blow, round-by-round coverage of Bellator 67 below, beginning with the MTV2 telecast at 8 p.m. ET. In addition, we'll deliver up-to-the-minute quick results of all the undercard action much earlier in the evening (beginning at 7:00 p.m.).
Headlining the main event will be a lightweight non-title bout as undefeated (9-0) Bellator 155-pound champion Michael Chandler takes on Japanese Pride, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and DREAM veteran Akihiro Gono.
Also on the card is a Bellator season six welterweight tournament semifinal fight between former tournament finalists Bryan Baker and Ben Saunders in a fight that expects to bring some serious violence.

Round one: Chandler comes out stalking. Gono looks very relaxed. Both very cautious to open things up. Chandler throws a left hook and jumps in with a lunging right hand that rocks Gono. Chandler storms in with some fast and powerful ground-and-pound with no answer from Gono as he curls up. The referee has no choice but to step in and stop the bout.
Wow! That was fast and brutal!
Final Result: Michael Chandler defeats Akihiro Gono via TKO (punches) at 0:56 of round 1
170 lbs.: Ben Saunders vs. Bryan Baker
Round one: Saunders opens with an inside kick. Bakers with a sidekick attempt that does not land. Saunders with the clinch ad connects with some knees. Saunders changes levels and gets the takedown. Back up to their feet quickly and Baker is bleeding. Battle for position against the cage. Saunders with a flying triangle and then an omoplata attempt from Saunders. Tenacious space in the opening round. Baker no raining down some hammer fists and Saunders throws a triangle and has it locked in and now goes for the armbar. Baker is in trouble but he gets out. Great defense from Baker. Baker now raining down punches on Saunders as he looks for side control. Back to their feet and Baker attempts takedown but Saunders stuffs. Baker takes Saunders' back as "Killa B" looks for wrist control as the round comes to an end. 10-9 Baker
Round two: Baker opens up with a kick to the body. Saunders throws some strikes but does not land. Strong left hand from Baker that connects solid. Baker continues to push the pace and Saunders smiles. Both exchanged jabs as Saunders goes for the clinch. Baker pushes Saunders against the fence and Saunders gets the quick takedown. Both quickly back to their feet and Baker throws some knees to the legs of Saunders. Saunders looking for a guillotine and Bakers pops out free. Saunders gets the clinch and delivers some knees to the midsection. Good knee to the chin of Baker as Baker looks winded. Saunders back up against the fence as he gets the clinch again but Baker trips Saunders to the canvas. Saunders with the rubber guard. Saunders with some hammer fists from the bottom. Left hands from Baker as he switches to side control. Baker looking for a crucifix as the round comes to an end with some right hands from Baker. 10-9 Baker
Round three: Sidekick from Baker to open the round and lands a push kick. Saunders again looks for the clinch but Baker defends well. The two battle for position against the cage again and exchange some knees. Baker looking for single leg and gets the takedown. Saunders looking to push of the fence but Baker has great control. Saunders looking for the triangle again and Baker is in side control. Baker with some ground-and-pound and Saunders tries to throw punches from his back. Baker in full control as Saunders can not seem to shake him off. Baker takes Saunders' back as they get back to their feet. Baker with a big slam and it is back to the ground. Saunders tries to get back to his feet but Baker keeps him down. Spinning kick from Baker and an axe kick attempt from Baker as the fight comes to an end.
Final Result: Bryan Baker def. Ben Saunders via unanimous decision - advances to Welterweight championship
265 lbs.: Damian Grabowski vs. Dave Huckaba
Round one: Grabowski goes in for a quick take down off the glove touch but is unsuccessful. Grabowski tries again and gets the take down. Open guard from Huckaba while Grabowski throws some punches, but none are connecting. The boo birds start to rain down from the card, asking for a standup. Referee Dan Miragliotta stands them up after a few seconds. Another take down attempt from Grabowski, but Huckaba defends well. Left hook from Huckaba that misses and Grabowski connects with a left. Some knees from Grabowski against the cage and Grabowski gets another take down. Some hammer fists from Grabowski after some shots to the body. Big Dan stands them up again and Huckaba attempts a flying knee as the round comes to an end. 10-9 Grabowski.
Round two: Low kick from Huckaba to open the second round. Grabowski shoots in for another take down and Huckaba defends well. Huckaba tentative to throw any punches. Good left hand from Grabowski that pushed Huckaba to the cage. Fight for control against the cage. Both throw a leg kicks and meet in the middle. Good leg kick from Grabowski. Step in knee from Huckaba. Another good kick from Grabowski, but no real power behind it. Hick kick attempt from Grabowski that misses. Straight right from Grabowski as he shoots in for yet another take down attempt but Huckaba stuffs it. Grabowski has Huckaba's back looking for the rear-naked choke while softening up Huckaba with some shots to the head. More boo birds from the fans. Huckaba reverses and now has Grabowski on his back. Back to their feet. Big right hand that connects flush from Huckaba and a swing and a miss from Grabowski as the round comes to an end. 10-9 Grabowski
Round three: Grabowski throws some kicks to open the final round and shoots in for another takedown and gets it. Body, body, head from Grabowski but not doing any major damage. The fight gets stood back up and Huckaba stuffs a takedown attempt. Good left hand from Huckaba. Overhand right from Grabowski that barely misses its mark and Huckaba connects with a good right. Nice left from Huckaba and Grabowski looks exhausted. No real sense of urgency from Huckaba as he stuffs another take down attempt. Grabowski comes in with a three straight punches and pushes Huckaba backwards. Grabowski shoots in yet again as the fight comes to an end. 10-9 Grabowski

170 lbs.: Ryan Ford vs. Luis Santos
Round one: Santos with a high kick that misses. Ford taking his time and throws a kick and Santos slips and falls. Back up to their feet and Ford misses with a kick. Ford throwing some punches with bad intentions. Nice low kick by Santos. Huge head kick by Santos that connects and rocks Ford to the canvas. Ford recovers quickly and is back up to the feet. Santos connects with an uppercut and Ford is rocked. Santos with the clinch and connects with some knees. Ford goes to the ground and Santos takes his back and peppers Ford with some punches. Elbow from Santos. Santos is tenacious holding onto his position. Ford trying to fight back to his feet but Santos has good control. Knees to the thigh from Santos. Round comes to an end. Great round from Santos. 10-9 Santos
Round two: Ford comes out aggressive for round two. Superman punch attempt from Ford and he slips. Knee to the midsection from Ford. Battle for position against the cage. Ford rocks Santos with another huge knee to the midsection that hurts Santos. Santos is down! Ford follows up with some ground-and-pound and it's all over.
Wow! Great finish and comeback by Ford.
