The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 15 Finale: "Ellenberger vs. Kampmann" fight card is less than 48 hours from getting underway this Friday night (June 1, 2012) at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
TUF 15 Finale will feature a five-round, number one Welterweight contender eliminator match between top division players, Jake Ellenberger vs. Martin Kampmann, in the main event of the evening. The winner of the 170-pound showdown will likely slide right behind interim division champion Carlos Condit in the queue to fight UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre sometime relatively soon.
Of course, the two men who advanced through the 16-man TUF 15 "Live" tournament, Michael Chiesa and Al Iaquinta, will sling leather in the co-featured fight of the night to become the latest season winner and earn a "six-figure" contract with the promotion.
Other main card match ups booked for the mixed martial arts (MMA) event include TUF 12 winner, Jonathan Brookins, colliding with dangerous Brazilian Lightweight Charles Oliveira, while Max Holloway and Pat Schilling look to carve out a spot in the promotion's Featherweight division in a seemingly must-win situation for both 145-pound fighters.
As with any UFC event, the notable cast and crew descend upon the host location beforehand to strut their stuff as part of the media open workout (in the video above), which this time took place at the TUF training facility in "Sin City."
