Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight wunderkind Jim Hettes is no longer scheduled to compete against Steven Siler at the UFC on FX 4 event, currently booked for the Revel Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ, on Fri., June 22, 2012.
That's because "The Kid" was forced to withdraw from the "Dirty Jersey" fight card due to an undisclosed injury, according to an early morning report from Studio MMA.
Taking his place will be undefeated Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) 145-pound champion Joey Gambino, who is 9-0 with eight finishes. Siler (20-9) is riding back-to-back wins over Josh Clopton and Cole Miller following his "Super" stint on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 14 last fall.
UFC on FX 4 will feature a lightweight showdown between Gray Maynard vs. Clay Guida in the main event of the evening. It will also mark the welterweight debut of Dan Miller, who takes on Ricardo Funch in main card action, among other bouts.
