Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White is accustomed to helping people fight. This time, he's helping kids battle their way through life-threatening illnesses.

With UFC 149 just around the corner, the Las Vegas fight boss dropped a boatload of swag on the fine folks behind the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada, who in turn will hold an online auction in conjunction with the July 21 pay-per-view (PPV) event in Calgary.

The auction includes two VIP tickets to the UFC 149 event in White’s personal section, a one-hour backstage tour the day of the fight (including inside the Octagon), front row seating for the official weigh-ins, a pair of gloves signed by UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre (which includes a certificate of authenticity) and even a card autographed by White himself.

From Chantal Macleod, spokeswoman for the foundation (via the Calgary Sun):

"These are tickets that are never released to the public and are as close to the Octagon as you can get. Given the calibre of the prizes, Dana White has gone above and beyond. There’s so much anticipation building. This is Calgarians’ first chance to get tickets for the big event."

The auction is already under way (click here to bid) and will conclude on Thursday night (May 3, 2012). The minimum bid is $2,500 (reserve).
