"Hulk" smashed the UFC on FUEL TV 3 fight card.
An injury to Mike Easton has caused the ZUFFA brass to shuffle the line-up for the upcoming network television event, currently slated for May 15, 2012 at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA. Easton's original opponent, Yves Jabouin, will now take on Jeff Hougland.
The incomparable "Showdown" Joe Ferraro tweeted the change in plans earlier today.
With "Tiger" getting some new stripes, "Hellbound" can't fulfill his bantamweight duties against Renan Pegado at UFC 148, scheduled for July 7, 2012 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. But fear not, somehow UFC matchmaker Joe Silva has convinced Ivan Menjivar to step in and take his place.
The winner will reportedly be next in line for a 135-pound title shot.
That means the winner of Dominick Cruz vs. Urijah Faber III, also scheduled for UFC 148, could already have their next opponent lined up when the smoke clears following the "Sin City" pay-per-view (PPV).
How about it Maniacs, what's you reaction to this change in 135-pound plans?
