Where better to pull of a hat trick than Canada?
With the inclusion of UFC 149, scheduled for July 21, 2012, at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Ultimate Fighting Championship will make two more stops north of the border this year with UFC 152 on Sept. 22 at the Air Canada Centre and then again for UFC 154 on Nov. 17 at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
UFC President Dana White confirmed the recent bookings at today's UFC 149 press conference.
Ticket information regarding the Calgary show is expected to come this April, while Director of Canadian Operations Tom Wright simultaneously shot down any hopes of an event coming to Vancouver over the next two years.
The good news is that reigning welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre has targeted UFC 154 as his return date from ACL surgery. While nothing is official at this time, his optimism cools some of the flames that arose when news broke that Interim champ Carlos Condit was opting to wait for "Rush" to return.
Stay tuned to MMAmania.com for further developments on these recently announced fight cards as they become available.
