Ribbit!
Jeff Curran, who's still in search of that elusive first win under the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) banner, will give it another shot when he throws hands opposite Johnny Eduardo at the upcoming UFC on FUEL TV 3 event scheduled for May 15, 2012, at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia.
MMA Weekly brought word of the pending match-up earlier today.
"The Big Frog" (33-14) has two prior appearances inside the Octagon, but went down on points against Matt Serra at UFC 46 and then again to Scott Jorgensen at UFC 137.
Third time's a charm?
Eduardo (25-9) is also chasing his first UFC win, having snapped a streak of 11 straight victories by dropping a unanimous decision to Raphael Assuncao in his Octagon debut at UFC 134 last August.
UFC on FUEL TV 3 will be headlined by an electrifying featherweight fracas featuring Dustin Poirier vs. Chan Sung Jung.
Lightweight standouts Donald Cerrone vs. Yves Edwards will also see action while Thiago Silva makes his long-awaited return to the Octagon against Igor Pokrajac.
