What a glorious night of boxing action.
Fans on both sides can appreciate the incredible display put on by Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez when the two got together for a fourth time last night (Sat., Dec. 8, 2012) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
After an underwhelming undercard, the Filipino fighting sensation came out hoping to establish his game early. It was Marquez who struck first, however, with a third round knockdown. "Pacman" answered back with one of his own in the fifth leading to a wild ride through three minutes that may go down as one of the best rounds in history.
Then, in the sixth, just before the bell, "Dinamita" exploded with a straight right hand that sent Pacquiao to the mat in a heap of flesh, a shocking finish to one of the greatest rivalries the sport has ever seen.
It was amazing.
