No controversy here, folks. Juan Manuel Marquez made sure of that by knocking Manny Pacquiao out in the sixth round of their 147-pound bout last night (Sat., Dec. 8, 2012) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It wasn't just your run of the mill knockout either. This came after Marquez knocked Pacquiao down in the third to take the momentum but had it stolen from him in the fifth when he was caught by a sneaky powerful "Pacman" punch that had him staggered. The ensuing assault nearly had him finished but he survived to the sixth where he timed his straight right hand just right and perfectly placed it on Pacquaio's chin to put him out cold with a single punch. We're talking faceplant, bringing planking back type of knockout, Maniacs. What a night. For more on the fight click here and for complete blow-by-blow of the entire bout click here.
