For many mixed martial arts (MMA) fans, boxing is like a cool cousin that only comes around every so often. It's almost always a pleasure but it's only ever for the big events.
Such is the case tonight (Sat., Dec. 8, 2012) with the return of pound-for-pound great Manny Pacquiao, who climbs back inside the ring at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, later this evening to take on Juan Manuel Marquez to finish off their classic rivalry.
But when exactly will that happen?
The good news for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fans who are hoping to catch UFC on Fox 5: "Henderson vs. Diaz" before boxing is that that show should be over long before Pacquiao and Marquez hit the ring for introductions on pay-per-view (PPV). The HBO broadcast begins at 9 p.m. ET with live under card action, which will be going on at the same time as the UFC on FOX 5 main card. Thankfully, the Pacquiao vs. Marquez fight won't start until around roughly 12 a.m. ET. That gives the UFC plenty of time to finish up its fun on FOX.
But that's not all.
