One of the most anticipated and stacked Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) cards of 2012 is set to pop off this weekend (Dec. 8, 2012) as UFC on FOX 5 emanates from KeyArena in Seattle, Washington.
The main card is loaded from top to bottom with intriguing matchups that all have the potential to earn "Fight of the Night" honors when it's all said and done. Kicking of the televised portion of the card will be Mike Swick taking on Matt Brown, followed by the return of B.J. Penn as he takes on surging Rory MacDonald in a much anticipated welterweight showdown that pits ‘old' vs. 'new.'
The co-main even features former UFC light heavyweight champion, Mauricio Rua, taking on fast-rising Alexander Gustafsson in a 205-pound match up that may determine the next challenger to Jon Jones or Chael Sonnen's title.
The headlining bout will see lightweight champion Ben Henderson defending his title for the second time in his short reign as he takes on Stockton's own, Nate Diaz, who looks to earn his first major mixed martial arts (MMA) title.
UFC stars Rashad Evans, Shane Carwin, Forrest Griffin, Pat Barry, Randy Couture and former 155-pound kingpin Frankie Edgar, who will undoubtedly have an interest in the main event's outcome, weigh in and give their predictions to MMA Interviews on who they believe will reign supreme in the events title fight.
Who is your final pick to walk out the champion in "The Emerald City?"
