The headlines have come and gone, but the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy is still here.
It wasn't that long ago when "Frankenstorm" put a beatdown on the East Coast, wiping out the Jersey shore and claiming the home of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight contender Chris Weidman. It also kept your beloved Nostradumbass in the dark for seven days.
I was one of the lucky ones.
The not-so-lucky guys (and gals) of "The Garden State" are still trying to pick up the pieces. Some don't have any pieces left to pick up and are now homeless. One look at the damage to Seaside Heights, where I, as well as former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar, used to hang out back in high school, shows why.
Restore the shore.
"The Answer" goes on a quick tour of the ruined areas and directs viewers to the Restore the Shore benefit, where you can help recover and rebuild -- and get some pretty cool swag in the process.
