Complete DREAM 18 / GLORY 4 weigh-in photos gallery from Japan

Check out a complete photos gallery for the DREAM 18 / GLORY 4 highly-anticipated, one-night, star-studded mixed martial arts (MMA) and 16-man kickboxing tournament from Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, on New Year's Eve.

New Year's Eve is about family, togetherness, irresponsible quantities of alcohol, and crazy-long mixed martial arts (MMA) extravaganzas from Japan.

You'll have to cover the first three yourself, but GLORY has stepped up to the plate, dragging the corpse of DREAM along with it for DREAM 18 / GLORY 4, the weigh-ins for which went down last night.

While DREAM has put together a very exciting card filled intriguing scraps between Shinya Aoki vs. Antonio McKee and Tatsuya Kawajiri vs. Michihiro Omigawa, among others, the star of the show is undoubtedly the 16-man kickboxing tournament put on by GLORY, featuring pretty much every elite kickboxer in the game save Hesdy Gerges.

Here are the opening round match ups in photo form, while you can zip through the entire collection that includes the MMA bouts above.

Enjoy.

Brice Guidon vs. #1 Semmy Schilt

You can't talk about the greatest kickboxers in the game without mentioning the Hightower, a four-time K-1 champion and one of the most dominant figures in combat sports. Schilt will have five inches and a staggering sixty pounds over Guidon, who he defeated this March. Guidon has won fifteen of his last eighteen, beating Gerges as well as fellow competitors Mourad Bouzidi and Filip Verlinden with those losses coming to Sergei Lascenko, Gokhan Saki and S chilt.
