Technically that's true but the reality is probably closer to saying:
This is the restart!
Indeed, Junior dos Santos clipped Cain Velasquez and finished him off in just 64 seconds in their first meeting at UFC on Fox 1 back in Nov. 2011 and while a finish is supposed to draw a satisfying conclusion to a contest, that works better in theory than in practice, at least in this instance.
The reality of the situation is that both guys went into that initial dance having suffered serious knee injuries that likely would have knocked them out of the fight had the stakes not been so high with it being the UFC's first official show on network television. Would the outcome have been the same? That's entirely possible, but there's really only one way to find out and that's to climb back inside the Octagon with both men healthy and raring to go.
That's what we'll get later this evening (Sat., Dec. 29, 2012) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the main event of UFC 155, with "Cigano's" heavyweight strap on the line.
