24-Hour UFC 'Holiday Knockout' marathon hits FUEL TV

Bored? Looking for something watch while wrapping last-minute gifts? Need a break from "A Christmas Story?" Turn on FUEL TV and watch wall-to-wall UFC programming from 6 a.m. today until 11 p.m. ET on Christmas.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) struck a landmark television deal with FOX Sports late last year, ringing in a new-look 2012 that included mixed martial arts (MMA) events on network television in the United States, as well as countless hours of related programming on subsidiary networks FX and FUEL TV.

Miss any or all of it?

Well, then you're in luck because the UFC and its big, bad programming partner are kicking off a television marathon that began at 6 a.m. ET this morning and won't stop until tomorrow at 11 p.m. ET with the debut episode of "Countdown" to UFC 155 at 11 p.m. ET.

Here are the details:

"More than 24 hours of UFC action comes to FUEL TV starting Monday morning, running all through Tuesday night! Revisit the first epic clash between Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez, then relive some of the greatest battles of 2012 including The Korean Zombie vs Dustin Poirier, Franklin vs Le, Henderson vs Diaz and more! Plus the premiere of Countdown to UFC 155 Tuesday night at 11pm ET / 8pm PT! All the action starts Monday at 6am ET / 3am PT only on FUEL TV."

It seems the first-ever UFC on FOX event, which featured the Heavyweight showdown between Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos, led-off the marathon earlier this morning. That 64-second window has clearly slammed shut by now, but the good news is we get to watch the big men roll it back this weekend (Dec. 29, 2012) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It's going to be great.

In the meantime, enjoy the fights and, most importantly, enjoy the holiday season.
