The official weigh in event for UFC 155: "Dos Santos vs. Velasquez 2" -- the annual year-end pay-per-view (PPV) event for the world's leading mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion -- is set to take place in less than a fortnight on Fri., Dec. 28, 2012, LIVE from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The first fighter is expected to tip the scale at 4 p.m. local time (7 p.m. ET).
As usual, MMAmania.com will provide a live video feed and up-to-the-second coverage of the UFC 155 weigh-ins, as well as provide a detailed recap of the festivities as soon as they conclude.
UFC 155 will feature a colossal heavyweight rematch between division kingpin Junior dos Santos, defending his world title against the man he defeated to win it, Cain Velasquez, in the main event of the evening. In the co-featured fight of the night, two men who are about 100 pounds lighter -- Jim Miller vs. Joe Lauzon -- will collide in an important Lightweight showdown.
Three Middleweight match ups will round out the televised PPV main card, highlighted by a rematch between Alan Belcher, who will look to avenge his first-ever Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) loss to former number one 185-pound contender, Yushin Okami.

For those fortunate enough to be in "Sin City" for New Year's Eve weekend 2012, remember the weigh-in is FREE to attend and open to the public. Doors to the weigh-in will open at 1 p.m. local time for UFC Fight Club members. In addition, UFC Fight Club members will be able to attend a special Q&A session with a fighter to be determined about one hour later (2 p.m. local time).
