This fight should get the UK mixed martial arts (MMA) fans excited.
The upcoming UFC on Fuel TV 7 event, which takes place next year (Feb. 16, 2012) from London, England has just added a middleweight attaction featuring Stanislav Nedkov, according to Sherdog.
Nedkov last appeared at UFC on Fuel TV 6 in November where he was competitive with former light heavyweight contender Thiago Silva for two rounds before being submitted in the third with an arm triangle. Luckily for him, the result was overturned after Silva was busted post-fight for a positive marijuana metabolite test.
This will be his debut at middleweight after two bouts at 205 pounds in the UFC thus far.
Watson also came up short in his last bout which was his UFC debut, dropping a split decision to Xtreme Couture fighter Brad Tavares at UFC on Fuel TV 5 in September. Prior to his setback, he had been on a solid run which helped him earn the BAMMA Middleweight Championship, one of Britain's most prestigious MMA honors.
UFC on Fuel TV 7 takes place on Feb. 16 at the Wembley Arena in London and is headlined by an interim bantamweight title tilt between champion Renan Barao and knockout artist Michael McDonald. The main card airs also includes an important featherweight contest featuring Cub Swanson vs. Dennis Siver.
