Joe Lauzon takes on Jim Miller in a lightweight lowdown on the main card of the UFC 155: "Dos Santos vs. Velasquez 2" pay-per-view (PPV) on Sat., Dec. 29, 2012, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Here's his pre-fight interview:
"I was very disappointed that Gray Maynard got hurt but at the same time, whenever I've had guys pull out last minute, I've had great fights. It happened when I fought Gabe Reudigar, it happened when I fought Jamie Varner, and it's going to happen when I fight Jim Miller.
"This is going to be 'Fight of the Night,' 100-percent. Jim Miller is tough, very good everywhere. Great jiu-jitsu, good wrestling, good stand-up; he's a southpaw, so that's a little different. He's had great fights, he's exciting, he goes for it -- the kind of fights I like to have.
"I am the most aggressive fighter in the UFC. No one is as aggressive as me. But Jim's aggressive too. I can use Jim Miller's aggressiveness against him. ... I'm confident I'm going to win this fight because I'm going to have so much fun during the fight. Nothing bad can happen in this fight. I'm going to have the time of my life from bell to bell.
"I'm going to submit Jim Miller."
