Yes, that's the real poster the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is using to promote the upcoming UFC 158: "St. Pierre vs. Diaz" event scheduled for Sat., March 16, 2012, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
It's awesome.
UFC 158 will feature the long awaited welterweight championship showdown pitting reigning 170-pound king, Georges St. Pierre, against former Strikeforce head cheese and resident Stockton bad boy, Nick Diaz. The tagline?
"Bad blood runs deep."
Here's a look at the full version:
If that doesn't get you pumped and ready for the show, nothing will.
The good news, too, is that in the event Diaz flakes or there's an injury or some sort of snag on the way to the big night, the UFC booked two monster welterweight match-ups underneath the headliner. In a rematch of their thrilling June 2010 showdown, Rory MacDonald will attempt to avenge his only career defeat when he tackles Carlos Condit.
In addition, Johny Hendricks decided to take another fight instead of waiting for the champion and his opponent will be a "Juggernaut," the one and only Jake Ellenberger.
That's a stacked line-up, Maniacs. How you digging it?
