"Honey, if you're running down to Lawson's to pick up a couple of rice balls, can you grab me two tickets to UFC on FUEL TV 8?"

That's right folks, tickets for the upcoming UFC on FUEL TV 8 event, which was recently made official for the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, on March 3, 2013, are already on sale at Lawson convenience stores throughout the "Land of the Rising Sun."

In addition, members of the newly-created UFC Japan Fan Club, which launches this Thursday (Dec. 13, 2012) at 10 a.m. local time, can scoop up tickets for next year's show priced at JPY 100,000 (VIP), 34,000 (RS), 19,000 (SS), 9,800 (S) and 5,800 (A).

UFC Mobile subscribers and users of Ticket Board can also get tickets on Thursday by clicking here and here. Readers of E-Plus, a play-guide publication circulated at Family Mart convenience stores in Japan, may purchase tickets a week from Friday (Dec. 21) by clicking here while the regular on-sale date for the general public is currently targeted for mid-January.

From Managing Director of UFC Asia Mark Fischer:

"It was a tremendous achievement to bring the UFC to Japan last February and I am looking forward to our return following the success of that event. Our Japanese fans have been supportive of this sport for many years and we are delighted to bring them, once again, a great card and the opportunity to view the best talent and production this sport has to offer. Our next event at Saitama Arena on March 3 will continue to showcase how popular the UFC and mixed martial arts has become on the global stage."

UFC FUEL TV 8 tickets can be purchased through StubHub.com (Note: StubHub often has seats available even if the event is "sold out"). It will also be available to watch on March 2 (Eastern time) on FUEL TV.

No fights have been announced for the promotion's return to Japan; however, keep it locked in to MMAmania.com for all the upcoming announcements as they become available.
