Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently put the finishing touches on its upcoming network-televised fight card scheduled for the CotaiArena at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel in the People's Republic of China on Sat., Nov. 10, 2012.
UFC on FUEL TV 6: "Franklin vs. Le" will feature a middleweight match-up pitting former division kingpin Rich Franklin against ex-Strikeforce 185-pound champion Cung Le.
In light heavyweight action, Brazilian banger Thiago Silva will try to crack the cranium of Bulgarian bruiser Stanislav Nedkov while Korean combatant Dong Hyun Kim tries to "Stun" the always-dangerous Paulo Thiago in a battle of welterweights.

Rich Franklin vs. Cung Le (185-pound limit):
Round one: Le takes the cage center and both men are playing it a bit safe early. Leg kick from Le is countered by a right hand down the middle from Franklin. Body kick from Franklin connects, then a left, then a leg kick. Franklin has the speed advantage early on and that's not a good sign for Le. Leg kick from Franklin and Le tries to counter with a right hand but he comes up short. Franklin throws a leg kick and it's countered by a huge right hand from Le that cracks Franklin on the button and Franklin drops to the ground completely out cold! Holy crap!
Final Results: Cung Le defeats Rich Franklin via knockout at 2:17 of round one

Stanislav Nedkov vs. Thiago Silva (205-pound limit):
Round one: Nedkov charges forward with a flurry of hooks and clinches Silva. Silva throws short knees on the inside. Big knee from Silva and both men swing wildly on the inside with huge power shorts during an exchange. Nedkov is still pressing Silva into the fence but Silva circles out and lands a nice jab. Nedkov rushes forward with hooks and a huge leg kick buckles Nedkov. Nedkov shoots in for a takedown but Silva fends him off along the fence. Silva puts Nedkov in a thai clinch and fires off a knee to the chest to create separation. Nedkov again pushes forward and presses Silva into the fence but it's Silva who lands knees on the inside. Silva slaps Nedkov a few times for good measure at the end of the round. 10-9 Silva
Round two: Low blow from Silva to start the round. They reset and Silva lands a heavy body kick on the outside. Nedkov presses forward and Silva scores with a jab. Nedkov clinches and Silva fires off knees on the inside. Thai clinch from Silva and he throws a knee to the leg. Nedkov not doing anything other than clinch and Silva is scoring with knees. The ref separates them and Silva throws another big kick. Nedkov presses forward and again hunts for the takedown but he can't get it. More wall and stall from Nedkov and they separate. Silva is the aggressor now, backing Nedkov up and Nedkov responds with a big overhand right which lands. Nice right hand from Silva as he's backing up and Nedkov presses him into the fence yet again. They break and Silva throws a huge leg kick but Nedkov drops him with an overhand right. . He swarms Silva on the ground until time expires. 10-10
Round three: They start on the feet and Nedkov's pace has really slowed. Silva swarms him and he's landing heavy shots. Nedkov is in trouble and Silva takes him down, passing to mount. Big punch from Silva and Nedkov is exhausted. Silva really needs to work for the finish here. Arm triangle attempt from Silva and he passes to side control. Nedkov taps out.
Final Results: Thiago Silva defeats Stanislav Nedkov via submission (arm triangle) at 1:45 of round three

Dong Hyun Kim vs. Paulo Thiago (170-pound limit):
Round one: Kim takes the cage center early on and shoots in for a quick takedown, grabbing a single leg and pressing Tiago into the fence. Thiago attempts a guillotine briefly and Kim scores a trip takedown. Kim takes Thiago's back and has both hooks in, working for a choke from behind. Thiago turtles and Kim drops some short punches as he works to flatten Thiago out. Kim has a body triangle now and Thiago latches onto an arm but can't do much with it. Thiago sits up on his knees and Kim is still glued to his back and Kim attempts a choke but it's not under the chin. Kim is squeezing really hard across Thiago's face but he can't get the finish as the horn sounds. 10-8 Kim
Round two: Kim again in stalk mode and he shoots in along the fence working for a takedown. Thiago fends him off for now but Kim has a single leg and Thiago counters with a Kimura from bottom. Thiago loses position and Kim is almost completely free. Kim is grinding away trying to smother Thiago but Thiago is still fending him off for now. Thiago tries to pop to his feet but Kim is just pressuring him heavy. Kim tries to drag Thiago to the ground but Thiago reverses the position and now he's on the offensive along the fence. Thiago's advantge doesn't last long as Kim trips him, working for a D'Arce choke as Thiago turtles. Kim might have this but the bell sounds. 10-9 Kim
Round three: Kim looks fresh and he whiffs with a huge spinning back fist, Chael Sonnen-style. Thiago steps forward and he's trying to be aggressive on the feet but he knows the takedown is coming. Front kick from Kim and Thiago responds with a kick. Kim closes the distance with a takedown and Thiago turtles, but Kim takes his back. Thiago nearly squirms free by grabbing a leg but Kim reestablishes the position. Kim postures up and drops some big right hands from behind and some lefts. More heavy left hands from Kim and he rides out the round on top. 10-9 Kim
Final Results: Dong Hyun Kim defeats Paulo Thiago via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27)

Mac Danzig vs. Takanori Gomi (155-pound limit):
Round one: Danzig with a front kick and a leg kick to get things started as Gomi stalks forward looking to land big bombs. Gomi flashing out his jab hand trying to gauge distance but he hasn't connected with anything significant yet. Nice left hand scores for Danzig and Gomi misses with a big combination. They clinch and Danzig scores with knees on the inside before separating. Gomi shoots in and scores a takedown but he's not doing anything at all with it. Danzig threatens with a guillotine and pops back to his feet. Big overhand left from Danzig misses and Gomi connects with a pair of leg kicks. Nice snapping right hand from Gomi and a leg kick. Good left hand lands for Gomi and then another leg kick. Danzig steps inside and scores with short hooks before backing off. Danzig shoots in and takes Gomi down, dropping punches to the body and head. Gomi thinks about a heel hook at the end of the round. 10-9 Gomi
Round two: Danzig starts to open up a bit with his strikes but Gomi lands a left hand that knocks Danzig backwards. Leg kick from Danzig and then a body kick. Danzig shoots in for a takedown but gets denied and fires off knees on the inside. Gomi closes the distance with heavy shots to the body and they separate. Danzig scores with a left jab and Gomi responds with a stiff jab and a leg kick of his own. Nice counter from Danzig but Gomi again nails Danzig. Good combination from Danzig and he shoots in for a takedown, putting Gomi on his back. Danzig is on top in half guard and he's got a minute to work. Gomi scrambles but Ganzig drops down for a guillotine choke. Danzig uses it to sweep to top position but he's running out of time to finish the choke. Danzig rolls to his back and squeezes the choke but Gomi survives to the bell. 10-9 Danzig
Round three: Gomi rocks Danzig with his opening salvo and Danzig drops to his back, firing upkicks at Gomi but the Japanese fighter takes top position on the ground. Danzig attacks with a heel hook, and both men trade footlock attempts and Gomi remains on top in half guard. Danzig works back to his feet but he needs to do something drastic to make up for that last two and a half minutes of Gomi domination. Gomi works for a takedown but Danzig stuffs it and drops some punches. Danzig turns up the intensity, throwing actively in the final minute, but it's too little, too late to win the round back. 10-9 Gomi

Jon Tuck vs. Zhang Tiequan (155-pound limit):
Round one: Tiequan takes the cage center early, stalking forward and trying to put the pressure on Tuck. Tuck throws a big right hook and a knee, but Tiquan closes the distance and takes him down with authority. Tuck throws his legs up and he's workign for an armbar. He rolls Tiequan over and he's got the arm extended. Tiequan rolls and tries to counter and he wraps Tuck up around the head with an inverted triangle but it's around the top of Tuck's head. Tuck takes Tiequan's back and he's got both hooks in now. Tuck drops some heel kicks to the thigh and passes to mount but Tiequan hip escapes. Tuck passes to side control and again gains mount as Tiequan gives up his back and Tuck is again all over him. Tuck is working for a rear naked choke but he's not under Tiequan's chin and he gives up on it for now. Tiequan scrambles back to his feet as time expires. 10-9 Tuck
Round two: Tiequan on the offensive early and both men trade heavy shots. Tiequan scores a big left hand and Tuck is trying to counter with heavy right hands. Huge knee from Tuck and Tiequan takes him down, landing in his closed guard. Tuck tries to walk his legs up to go for an armbar and they scramble with Tuck taking top position, landing in half guard. Tuck drops some punches from above and he's working to isolate an arm, passing to full mount in the process. Tuck pins down an arm briefly and drops some left hands and now he's thinking about a triangle from mount, but instead takes Tiequan's back in the transition. Heel kicks to the thigh by Tuck, trying to soften up Tiequan as time expires. 10-9 Tuck
Round three: Tiequan again stalking forward early an dhe lands a nice left hand on the feet. Tuck's hands are very low and he's asking to get blasted. Nice right jab from Tuck on the outside and Zhang lands a soft leg kick. Both men looking pretty tired, especially Tuck. Zhang steps inside and grazes with a heavy pair of hooks and Zhang scores with a huge left hand that wobbles Tuck. Tuck fires back with a flying knee but he's definitely slowing down. Right hand scores for Zhang and then a left. Tiequan having trouble keeping his mouthpiece in and he's really being aggressive with that left hand. Tuck needs to keep his right hand up or he could get knocked out. Big right hand scores for Tiequan as both men trade blows. Tiequan steps forward and lands more punches and he needs to really turn it on here if he wants to win because he clearly lost the first two rounds. Leg kick from Tiequan and Tuck scores with a stiff right jab. Flying knee and a head kick from Tuck and Tiequan lands a heavy uppercut. Tuck rolls for a kneebar as time expires. 10-9 Tiequan

Jeff Hougland vs. Takeya Mizugaki (135-pound limit):
Round one: Mizugaki steps forward with a heavy right hand and both men clinch in the cage center, firing off knees and short strikes. Heavy leg kick from Mizugaki and he's got Hougland moving backwards. Hougland telegraphs a takedown from the outside and Mizugaki swarms him with strikes. Hougland changes levels and works hard for a takedown but he can't finish it and Mizugaki winds up on top. Mizugaki works for ground and pound and Hougland throws up and armbar attempt but Mizugaki slips free and makes him pay with heavy punches. Closed guard from Hougland and Mizugaki drops some big blows from above, posturing up and coming down hard. Big right hands from Mizugaki force Hougland to scramble and Hougland eats some more heavy shots. Dominant start from Mizugaki here. Hougland attempts an arm triangle from bottom but Mizugaki squirms free and continues his assault of heavy ground and pound until the round concludes. 10-9 Mizugaki
Round two: Hougland trying to be the aggressor early and he backs Mizugaki into the fence, working for a takedown but Mizugaki secures a body lock and drags Hougland to the ground. Hougland attempts an armbar but Mizugaki drops heavy punches from above and punches his way free. Hougland turtles and Mizugaki rotates to his back, forcing him to roll to his back in guard again. Heavy right hand from Mizugaki and he tried to pass Hougland's guard but gets shut down. Big punches from Mizugaki but Hougland locks him up defensively and they get stood up. Huge left hook from Mizugaki rocks Hougland and Hougland shoots in for a takedown but winds up on his back again. Mizugaki stays on top until the end of the round. 10-9 Mizugaki
Round three: Head kick from Hougland early and Mizugaki swarms him with a huge combination that rocks Hougland. Hougland responds by lifting Mizugaki up in the air and slamming him to the ground but Mizugaki pops to his feet immediately and takes top position. Mizugaki postures up and drops some heavy punches and Hougland gets pushed towards the fence. Hougland turtles and Mizugaki allows him to get to his feet. Mizugaki grabs a body lock and again drags Hougland to the ground. The ref stands them up with two minutes left and Hougland ducks under a Mizugaki hook but can't secure a takedown and Mizugaki again lands on top as Hougland rolls over onto his back. Big left elbow from Mizugaki opens up a huge cut on Hougland over his left eye. Mizugaki stays on top until the end of the fight. 10-9 Mizugaki

Round one: Caceres starts off with a leg kick and jab attempt, looking for the distance. Caceres with the sidekick, but Tezuka dances out of the way. Hard outside leg kick by Tezuka. Caceres with the jab. Tezuka shoots for the single leg takedown. Caceres defends, but Tezuka persists and gets it. Caceres throws up a triangle attempt, but Tezuka defends and passes the guard. Side control by Tezuka. North-south now by Tezuka. Goddard warns for inactivity, again, not understanding what he's watching. Tezuka continues to soften with short strikes, possibly working for a north-south choke. Goddard, puzzlingly, stops things and stands up the action. Really bad stand up. Tezuka shoots but is unable to score the takedown. Caceres with a good leg kick. Tezuka shoots again, holding onto the leg, then transitions to a tie up on the fence. Tezuka still persisting with the attempt, looking to bring things back down to the mat. Caceres defends. One minute left. Caceres gets his leg free and finds himself on top. Tezuka very active off his back. Tezuka grabs hold of a leg and gets his back taken momentarily. Good chess game going on here on the mat. Goddard wouldn't know it though. Caceres ends on top. 10-10.
Round two: Caceres with the outside leg kick. Tezuka with an outside leg kick of his own. Tezuka with a good right hand. Tezuka shoots for the power takedown and gets it, ending up on top inside the guard of Caceres. Tezuka ties up the legs. Tezuka trying to stay busy enough to stay in this position. Tezuka staying tight to the body of Caceres, but Caceres able to push off with his feet and escape out the back to his feet. Hard outside leg kick by Caceres. Caceres with the flying knee. Blocked by Tezuka, who shoots for another takedown. Caceres able to defend after a considerable amount of time on the fence. Apparently, Goddard doesn't mind watching that, but tactical action on the canvas just really takes the piss out of him. Unconventional backfist from standing position by Caceres. Caceres with a good combo. Tezuka draws cheers from the crowd by throwing up a bare knuckle brawl stance. 10-9 Caceres.
Round three: Caceres throws a kick and slips, but bounces back up. Good right hand now by Tezuka. jab by Caceres. Caceres with another stiff jab, making use of his range. Good right hand by Caceres as Tezuka rushes in. Good combo by Caceres. We should see a shot by Tezuka soon. Good right hook by Caceres. Leg kick by Tezuka. Good jab by Caceres. Tezuka is starting to get dominated in the stand up. Right on cue, the single leg takedown attempt by Tezuka. Caceres able to keep his balance and get his leg free. Tezuka showing frustration over his lack of success in the takedown category, after round one. Crazy spinning axe kick by Caceres as Tezuka throws a spinning backfist, neither fighter landing, to the amusement of the crowd. Tezuka showing some swelling under the left eye now. Just under a minute to go. I think someone from Caceres' corner just yelled "Hadoken." It might not have happened, but I want to believe it did. Tezuka ties things up on the fence. Ten seconds left. Tezuka gets the takedown, but Caceres reverses it with the mounted triangle as time expires. 10-9 Caceres.

Round one: Lineker with the leg kick. Lineker with the high kick. Urushitani with a lot of movement but no action really yet. Urushitani with the leg kick. Inside leg kick by Lineker. Action a mile a minute thus far, one minute in, nothing major landed as of yet. Leg kick by Lineker. Good kick to the body by Urushitani. Fighters throw simultaneous kicks and cross swords. Ouch. Good left hand by Urushitani. Good knee by Urushitani. Leg kick by Urushitani. This fight is seriously like watching two hummingbirds. Urushitani keeping his hands danergously low. Urushitani feints the spinning backfist, then pulls out. Like a gentleman. Leg kick by Lineker misses. Leg kick by Urushitani. Urushitani with the body kick. Good combo by Urushitani. Head kick by Urushitani is blocked. Good exchange of strikes. Big left hook by Lineker! Urushitani is down and staggered. He gets back up, but looks wobbled. Ten seconds left. Good jab by Urushitani. 10-9 Lineker.
Round two: Hard outside leg kick by Lineker. Spinning back kick by Lineker to the body. Urushitani showing signs of being hurt by that one. Urushitani feints the takedown then thinks better of it. Urushitani starting to stand in front of Lineker a little too much. Lineker is stalking. Good combo by Lineker. Urushitani's movement has slowed dramatically from round one. Lineker with the right hand to the body. Big combo by Lineker and the another. Lineker is throwing bombs. Urushitani circles off and out of the way of Lineker's haymakers. Urushitani with a decent leg kick. It really has been all Lineker in round two. Two minutes left. Big right hook to the body by Lineker. Urushitani complains of an eyepoke and will get time to recover. Lineker receives a warning. Back to the action. Just over a minute to go. Good jab by Lineker. Lineker walking him down landing strikes. Urushitani continues to land here and there, but each exchange sees Lineker finishing things off with a big power shot. Round three: Lineker starts off with a big leg kick. Huge right hand by Lineker. Urushitani is down but bounces back up. Lineker's power continues to keep Urushitani on his heels, and for parts of the fight, on his ass. Big left hook by Lineker. Urushitani's face showing signs of abuse, namely with a cut over the left eye. Big combo by Lineker. Antoher big two punch combo by Lineker. Lineker showing great power for a flyweight. Urushitani starts to shoot for a takedown but eats a left hand and aborts the mission. Good kick by Urushitani to the body. Jump knee by Urushitani. Big right hand by Lineker! He's unloading! Urushitani looks to be in trouble! Two minutes left. Urushitani doing a good job of surviving but he's taking a lot of punishment whenever the two exchange from in close. Good combo from Lineker again. Urushitani with a nice stiff jab, but Lineker answers with several punches in a row. Urushitani with the takedown attempt, but Lineker reverses him and dishes out several hard strikes on the fence. Lineker has him tied up on the fence, then pushes off and back to center. Under a minute to go. Fighters exchange, Lineker getting the better once more. Urushitani with an unorthodox jump flying knee. Good left hand by Urushitani, but Lineker just walks through it. Hell of a fight. 10-9 Lineker.

Round one: DeBlass with the leg kick. Fukuda answers with a front kick to the body. Fukuda coming forward aggressively. DeBlass with another outside leg kick. Fukuda shoots and gets the takedown. Fukuda on top against the fence. DeBlass with the closed guard off his back. One minute in. Fukuda punishing the ribs with short strikes. Fukuda postures up, looking to stack, then dives back into the guard. ore punches to the ribs. Good elbow by Fukuda. DeBlass absorbs some blows but wall walks back to his feet. Back to center. DeBlass with a nice right hand. Fukuda with the front kick. DeBlass with a decent combo. Fukuda charges forward throwing punches, looks for the takedown but it's not there. DeBlass looks to have taken an incidental eye poke. Quick pause. Back to action. Fukuda shoots for a single leg. DeBlass hangs tough and tries to keep his balance. Fukuda gives up the leg and we're back to center. Leg kick by Fukuda, answered with a quick combo by DeBlass. Another good combo by DeBlass, who is getting the better of things on the feet. Close round thus far. Fukuda ties things up on the fence. DeBlass breaks free. Head kick by DeBlass is partially blocked. Fukuda scores a takedown with 30 seconds to go, possibly cementing the round for himself. Ground and pound for Fukuda as time expires. 10-9 Fukuda.
Round two: Outside leg kick by DeBlass. Fukuda comes forward and eats a jab. Fukuda ties him up on the fence. Muay thai clinch by Fukuda, implementing knees. Now elbows from Fukuda in the clinch. DeBlass finally able to break out of the clinch and back of the middle of the cage. Outside leg kick by Fukuda. Fukuda rushes in to tie things up and eats a left hand. Leg kick by Fukuda. DeBlass with a firm right cross. Fukuda with the tie up, using dirty boxing. DeBlass circles off. Good right cross by DeBlass again, and again. Good combo by DeBlass. Fukuda tangles things up on the cage wall once more. Knees to the thighs and body by Fukuda. DeBlass pushes off. Good combo by DeBlass, and then he gets tied up again. Fukuda working the knees. Fukuda landing a decent amount of strikes from in close, transitioning to a takedown with a minute in. DeBlass really needs to be aggressive here and get back to his feet, but he looks gassed. Fukuda showing no signs of fatigue. Referee Marc Goddard warns for lack of action. Fukuda trying to stay busy enough to avoid the stand up. DeBlass trying to control the wrists. Fukuda looking to implement some ground and pound. Fukuda postures up and lands a couple of strikes, then dives back into the guard.
