The co main event of the UFC on FUEL TV 6: "Franklin vs. Le" card today (Nov. 10, 2012) in Macau, China, featured light heavyweights Thiago Silva and Stanislav Nedkov. Considering their bout came after seven straight decisions, it couldn't have come at a better time.

Right?

That held true early, as Nedkov came forward and Silva was just fine with standing against the cage and letting his fists fly with reckless abandon. The Bulgarian banger answered back with punches of his own, an exciting flurry of action that quickly gave way to fatigue inducing clinch work along the fence.

There was a break in the action shortly into the second after an errant Silva kick crowned Nedkov's jewels. Once they restarted, patience was key as neither fighter had the energy they used up in the opening frame.

Then Silva got aggressive late and Nedkov came over the top with a big counter shot that put the Brazilian on the mat. Tired or not, that power will put you away if it lands clean.

A clearly tired Nedkov found himself on the receiving end of a brutal assault from Silva to start the final round. Seeing the opening, Thiago earned a takedown and quickly passed to full mount. Just like that, he grabbed a head and arm triangle and that was it.

That's a wrap, son.
