The official weigh-in event for tomorrow night's (Oct. 6, 2012) all-female Invicta FC 3 fight card took place today (Oct. 5, 2012) at 6:00 p.m. ET from the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri.
The weigh-ins were streamed live on the Invicta FC homepage.
Of the 28 ladies who stepped onto the scale, 26 made weight. Tara LaRosa still has 1.2 pounds to drop after weighing in at 127.2. Lacey Schuckman also must drop 0.2 pounds after weighing in slightly over the 106 pound limit.Schuckman eventually made weight but was fined 10 percent of her purse for missing originally but LaRosa was unable to drop any more and was fined 25 percent of her purse as her bout will continue.
Also on tap are some other extremely intriguing 135 pound bouts which feature fighters like previous headliner Shayna Bazler, the powerful Sarah D'Alelio, head hunter Kaitlin Young and brawler Leslie Smith.
