UFC 155: Michael Johnson vs. Myles Jury on tap for Dec. 29 in Las Vegas

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) continues to fill up its UFC 155 fight card, booked for Dec. 29, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada, adding a lightweight tilt pitting Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 12 finalist Michael Johnson opposite TUF 15 standout Myles Jury.

ESPN reported the match-up earlier today.

Johnson (12-6) went from "that kid who almost won TUF" to a serious threat in the 155-pound division. "The Menace" has aligned himself with the Blackzilians and put his peers on blast with back-to-back wins over Tony Ferguson and Shane Roller.

But can he handle "The Fury?"

Jury (10-0) cut his teeth under the King of the Cage (KOTC) umbrella before making his way to the TUF franchise. His first attempt ended with an untimely injury, but he was given a second chance a few seasons later -- only to lose a split decision to eventual finalist Al Iaquinta.

His Octagon debut ended with a submission win over Chris Clements back in June.

UFC 155 will feature a monster heavyweight rematch pitting current titleholder Junior dos Santos, against the man he took the 265-pound strap from last year, Cain Velasquez. Also scheduled for the year-end fight card is a light heavyweight tilt between Forrest Griffin and Phil Davis.
