UFC on FOX 5 poster pic for 'Henderson vs Diaz' on Dec. 8 in Seattle

Now this is something worth getting excited about.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) today (Oct. 2, 2012) revealed the poster pic for perhaps its most promising national network mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which is scheduled to take place at the KeyArena in Seattle, Wash., Dec. 8, 2012.

UFC on FOX 5: "Henderson vs. Diaz" will feature a World Lightweight Championship bout between division kingpin Ben Henderson, defending his 155-pound strap against number one contender, Nate Diaz.

That's a good friggin' fight.

In addition to the Ben Henderson vs. Nate Diaz main event, B.J. Penn vs. Rory MacDonald will meet in a welterweight scrap that pits the old school opposite the new, while Alexander Gustafsson will try to move to the head of the light heavyweight class when he tangles with former 205-pound champion Mauricio Rua.

And Mike Swick vs. Matt Brown will undoubtedly spark fireworks when the welterweight scrappers kick-off the broadcast little more than two months from today.

Better late than never.
