Ronda Rousey: 'Breaking an opponent's arm is like tearing apart a turkey'

What do Sarah D'Alelio, Julia Budd and Miesha Tate all have in common? They've all been treated like a Thanksgiving turkey courtesy of Strikeforce Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey.

According to former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir, who snapped Antonio Rodrigo's wing back at UFC 140, breaking someone's arm feels like "crushing a bag of potato chips."

What's it feel like to Strikeforce Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey?

Tearing apart a turkey, which means she's the kinda gal you want to have around for Thanksgiving dinner, unless your name happens to be Sarah D'Alelio, Julia Budd or Miesha Tate.

The "Rowdy" one elaborates to Middle Easy:

"I don't think it's satisfying. It kind of grosses me out. I tell everybody, it kind of feels like tearing apart a turkey with a crotch. It really does. It's gross. When you're trying to get a turkey thing off and you feel all the cartilage and the tendons and the bones coming off, when you're pulling it, it really is that exact feeling. It's gross. But that's the way it is. They'd try to do the exact same thing to me. I've felt it being done to my own arms."

Rousey is 3-0 as an amateur and 6-0 as a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. All nine of those wins have come by way of armbar. Not that it seems to bother Marloes Coenen.
