Matt Riddle's career has gone to pot.
Literally.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight has been on the sidelines for the past 90 days after testing positive for marijuana following the UFC 149 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which emanated from the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, back on July 21, 2012.
All the good will stemming from his "Submission of the Night" over Chris Clements just went up in smoke.
Joining Riddle in "Deep Waters" is featherweight fighter Francisco Rivera, who also got suspended for 90 days when he "tested positive for an undisclosed over-the-counter stimulant," according to MMA Junkie. "Cisco" knocked out Roland Delorme late in the opening frame.
As of now, neither win will be overturned.
