And the fight announcements for the UFC on FOX 1 event, which will take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, on Nov. 12, 2011, are starting to roll in.

The third bout added to the card is a featherweight tilt pitting up-and-down bonus hoarder Cub Swanson against recent newcomer to the 145-pound division Ricardo Lamas.

The promotion announced the bout on its Twitter account just a short while ago.

Swanson has been plagued by injuries since a Nov. 2010 split decision victory over Mackens Semerzier in the now defunct World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) organization. Two separate attempts at setting up a bout against Erik Koch fell through but he's finally healed and ready to make his Octagon debut.

But he's not getting a gimmie in his first official UFC contest.

After compiling an impressive 4-2 record under the WEC banner from March 2009 to Dec. 2010, Grice made the jump to UFC after the merger and debuted at UFC on Versus 4 against Matt Grice.

It was also his featherweight debut and he made it a successful one by pounding out Grice in the very first round.

What are his chances of a repeat performance against much tougher competition? Stay tuned, Maniacs.

UFC on FOX 1 will mark the promotion's debut on network television on Nov. 12, 2011 and will feature Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez defending his title for the first time ever against division number one contender and noted knockout artist Junior dos Santos.

The only other fight booked for the card is a match-up between Dustin Poirier and Pablo Garza.

The card, which is just over two months away, is sure to fill up quickly, so stay tuned to for all the fight announcements as they happen.
