ONE Fighting Championship made its promotional debut today (Sept. 3, 2011) at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.

In the headlining fight, Eduard Folayang notched a close decision victory over A Sol Kwon in an exciting lightweight match-up.

Kwon was a last minute fill-in for Folayang's original opponent, Ole Laursen and sought to do everything he could to prove he was more than a worthy adversary for the current Universal Reality Combat Championship welterweight title holder.

Despite suffering a broken nose and a cut over his right eye, Folayang was able to do just enough to impress the judges and score the unanimous decision win.

Both fighters received a $5000 bonus check for "fight of the night."

Before the main event was kicked off, Phil Baroni looked to prove that the "New York Bad Ass" still had some ass-kicking left in the reserve.

Despite a healthy campaign of "smack talk" from Baroni leading up to the fight, he was unable to come through for his fans.

His opponent, Yoshiyuka Yoshida, was able to pretty much take Baroni down at will. Yoshida used dominant wrestling and ground-and-pound to frustrate Baroni and win a fairly decisive win by way of unanimous decision.

Baroni refused to shake hands with Yoshida afterwards, clearly upset by the strategy used to keep the fight on the ground.

You just can't get away with not having a wrestling game in mixed martial arts (MMA) anymore.

In a fast-paced featherweight bout, two undefeated fighters, Eric Kelly and Mitch Chilson, sought to create the first blemish on their opponent's record.

The fight was a flurry of flying fists and feet before Kelly was finally able to secure a rear naked choke at 3:10 of the first round, causing Chilson to go to sleep.

Kelly earned the "submission of the night" honors with the win.

Gregor Gracie did his family proud with a unanimous decision victory over Korean fighter Seok Mo Kim.

Gracie threatened to finish Kim on multiple occasions during the fight, but his foe proved to be too elusive. Afterwards, Gracie was complimentary of his opponent and committed to working harder at finishing his fights in the future.

The performance was certainly nothing to hang his head about and will give the young Gracie prodigy something to build upon.

In the first fight on the main card, former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Andy Wang took on Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Zorobabel Moreira.

Moreira came into the fight as a huge (-625) favorite and looked the part for the entirety of the fight.

In the first round, Wang suffered an unfortunate and accidental eye gouge that forced him to take a few minutes and regroup.

From that point on, Moreira went to town with successful combinations, almost all of which landed cleanly.

In the second round, Moreira's massive reach advantage proved to be too much for Wang as he continued to pound him at every turn.

At 1:59 of the second round, Wang finally said "uncle" and refused to continue.
