The UFC 133: "Evans vs. Ortiz 2" main card continued rolling along with a welterweight match-up pitting two of the longest tenured mixed marital artists still in the game today, with Dennis Hallman taking on Brian Ebersole in a battle of two fighters that probably won't ever contest for a title but are almost always good for one hell of a show.

And tonight was no different.

That's because Hallman kicked things off the right way making his way to the cage and unveiling a speedo as his ring attire. Yes, "Superman" fought a professional MMA fight inside the Octagon in the year 2011 wearing a blue speedo. It certainly didn't help the end result, though, as Ebersole put him away with some vicious ground and pound for the technical knockout win in the first round.

It was an impressive performance for "Bad Boy," who found himself in trouble early and defending a rear-naked choke right off the bat. And with Hallman's choice of wardrobe, that submission took on an all new meaning.

Ebersole was able to successfully work his way out and once he got on top of his opponent, it was only a matter of time before his deadly fists and elbows did the necessary damage to force a stoppage.

Sure, Ebersole isn't likely to go far enough up the ladder to be considered a serious contender, but after 62 fights outside the Octagon, he's 2-0 inside it with two very impressive wins.

Add in his likable personality and he may very well have a nice career left to look forward to.

What did you think of his performance tonight, Maniacs? And since you're going to anyway, thoughts on the blue speedo?
