We're in the home stretch in the lead-up to Saturday night's (Aug. 27, 2011) UFC 134: "Silva vs. Okami" event at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
That means open workouts, press conferences, weigh-ins, interviews ... the full media blitz.
It's worth it, too, as UFC 134 brings a veritable triple main event to pay-per-view this weekend. Anderson Silva headlines in a rematch against Yushin Okami, while Mauricio Rua occupies the co-main event slot in a rematch of his own against Forrest Griffin.
And don't forget about Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira returning to take on Brendan Schaub.
The pre-fight activities aren't necessarily an indicator of the eventual results come fight night, but it's always nice to get a look at each competitor in an attempt to gauge just where they're at, both mentally and physically.
