UFC 139: Ryan Bader vs Jason Brilz fight set for Nov. 19 in San Jose

Something has got to give.

Slumping light heavyweights Ryan Bader and Jason Brilz have been booked to battle at UFC 139, which is slated to take place at the HP Pavillion on Nov. 19, 2011, in San Jose, California.

The promotion today announced the 205-pound tussle on its official website.

It's another opportunity for Bader to reverse his recent misfortune, reeling from two consecutive losses. His last fight ended via savage and quick guillotine choke at the mighty grip of Tito Ortiz at UFC 132 on July 2, 2011. "Darth" was an undefeated division contender prior to his loss to Jon Jones in the bout prior to the "Huntington Beach Bad Boy."

The heat is on in the "Silicon Valley."

Brilz is also coming off two straight losses,  dropping a controversial split decision to Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and then following it up with a knockout loss to Vladimir Matyushenko earlier this year. "The Hitman," who has dropped three of his last four fights, will look to right his own ship when he enters into the Octagon later this fall.

Or else.

UFC 139 is expected to be headlined by a titanic heavyweight tilt between division champion Cain Velasquez against division number one contender, Junior dos Santos. A bantamweight number one contender eliminator bout between former champion Brian Bowles taking on recent title challenger and former featherweight kingpin, Urijah Faber, is also expected to be feature on the main card.
