For those of you that heard Brock Lesnar loudly proclaim he's "BACK" in this video right here before subsequently reading about the UFC coming to a deal with FOX to broadcast events on network TV and putting two and two together, I hate to burst your bubble but ... POP!

Lesnar was overly vague in his first appearance since his colon surgery on May 26 and gave no actual time frame for his pending return. UFC President Dana White, though, did exactly that when asked by MMA Weekly:

"Brock's gonna get back in the gym in September. Start training again, cause he hasn't done anything since his surgery, training wise. Brock will probably be back the first of the year."

Rumors have been floating through the Internet for days that Lesnar will return to fight either Frank Mir or Alistair Overeem. Speculation saw the two bouts placed on FOX on Nov. 12 and UFC 140 on Dec. 10.

Sorry, folks, but it looks like it ain't happening.

On the bright side, though, the Brockness monster appears to be fully recovered from his second bout with diverticulitis and is ready to make another run in the heavyweight division ... if he can.
