MMA Fight Pit: Genesis weigh in results for 'Alexander vs Al-Hassan' on Aug. 13

The official weigh in event for MMA Fight Pit: Genesis took place today (August 12, 2011), at the LIbrary Bar and Grill in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was the last pre-fight event before tomorrow night's card, which airs live on pay-per-view at 9 p.m. ET

All but two fighters made the two-pound weight allowance under the New Mexico State Athletic Commission. Only Ultimate Fighter alumni Junie Browning and his late replacement opponent Jacob Clark failed to make weight. Both men will still be allowed to compete.

Headlining the main event will be a pair of UFC veterans. Fan favorite Houston Alexander looks to continue his win streak against submission specialist Razak Al-Hassan in an interesting stylistic match-up.

Former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver will square off against WEC veteran Coty Wheeler as he continues to attempt to turn his career around. Pulver had recently been on a two fight win streak before losing in the main event of Titan Fighting Championships a couple months back.

Lastly, The Ultimate Fighter season 11 bad boy Jamie Yager will look to cash in on some of his fame in a middleweight match-up against upstart prospect Willie Parks.
