Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is bringing another "TUF" guy to free TV as Amir Sadollah will look for his third straight win when he takes on crafty veteran Duane Ludwig on the UFC on Versus 5 fight card this Sunday night (Aug. 14, 2011) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
And based on his last trip to the Octagon, it's easy to see why Sadollah is the -325 favorite.
The soon-to-be 31 year-old Muay Thai fighter is enjoying a two-fight win streak, smashing DaMarques Johnson into submission in his most recent performance at UFC Fight Night 24 in March 2011. The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 7 winner has struggled against top competition, losing to Dong Hyun Kim and Johny Hendricks, but has been solid otherwise.
Are the oddsmakers giving him too much respect?
Ludwig recently snapped a two-fight losing streak with a split decision win over Nick Osipczak at UFC 122 in Nov. 2010. "Bang," 32, is a mixed martial arts veteran who -- as his name suggests -- has finished 50 percent of his opponents via (technical) knockout.
The bookies aren't convinced he'll be finishing anyone on fight night, labeling him the +250 underdog.
Anyone out there disagree?
Amir Sadollah (-325) vs. Duane Ludwig (+250) at UFC on Versus 5. Who ya' got and why?
