Dominick Cruz vs Demetrious Johnson odds: Who opened as the -425 favorite for UFC on Versus 6?

According to noted oddsmaker Nick Kalikas of BetOnFighting.com, it's none other than the current Bantamweight Champion himself, Dominick Cruz. "The Dominator" opens as the landslide -425 favorite headed into his title defense against Demetrious Johnson at UFC on Versus 6 on Oct. 1 in Washington D.C.

"Mighty Mouse" comes in as the heavy underdog at +325.

Anyone jumping on this line with wallets wide open? Or do you expect a dramatic shift as we get closer and closer to fight night?

Cruz has lived up to his "dominant" monikor all throughout his six years in the fight game. At just 25-years-old, he's already on the cusp of pound-for-pound greatness having successfully defended his 135-pound title three times with few challengers rising up to give him a legitimate run for his money.

Will Johnson finally provide that challenge? The lines will shift and move as the betting dictates, of course, but the consensus opinion seems to be that they'll hold steady right around where they are now.

Demetrious Johnson seemingly came from out of nowhere to quickly establish himself as a potential threat to the bantamweight throne.

He's won his last four fights against highly respectable competition -- namely Norifumi Yamamoto and Miguel Torres -- and fits the bill as the most credible challenger to Cruz.

Can the speedy "Mighty Mouse" culminate his incredible rise to the top by knocking off "The Dominator" and become a UFC champion in just his third fight inside the Octagon?

We're still a ways away from fight time, Maniacs, but who do you like for your money and who ya' got straight up?
