UFC 132: "Cruz vs. Faber 2" is officially in the books, bringing an end to six straight weeks of televised mixed martial arts action from both the UFC and Strikeforce.
Afraid you won't get your fix now that your weekends are free?
No worries. In addition to "Fedor vs. Henderson" on July 30 under the Strikeforce banner, UFC 133 is just around the corner and with it may come the crowning of the next 205-pound title contender.
"Evans vs. Davis" will feature the return of "Suga" Rashad Evans, as he tries to reclaim his spot as top dog in the light heavyweight division by repelling the "Wonderful" rise of Phil Davis.
Also booked for "The City of Brotherly Love" is a middleweight mash-up pitting Vitor "The Phenom" Belfort against former K-1 superstar Yoshihiro Akiyama.
In addition, Rich "Ace" Franklin will look to re-insert himself into the 205-pound elite with a victory over the always game but currently struggling Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
