Strikeforce: "Fedor vs. Henderson" is all set to pop off just a few short hours from now at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
The event is headlined by an unlikely heavyweight showdown pitting former Pride legend and pound-for-pound great Fedor Emelianenko squaring off against current Light Heavyweight Champion Dan Henderson.
It could very well mark the final time "The Last Emperor" steps inside the cage.
And not that you were, but if you're asking Frank Shamrock, he believes the wily Russian will leave the "Land of Lincoln" tonight having tasted defeat for a third consecutive time.
Who'd a thunk it?
But that's not the only intriguing match-up on the card. Not by a long shot. In fact, Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker recently made the claim that the promotion has never put on a show of this caliber in the entirety of its existence.
You know what? He just might be right.
And because predictions are a tradition for every event, let's have a little fun with this. Shamrock gave his five main card picks to the Chicago Sun-Times. But we've got a special prognosticator of our own -- Nostradumbass. How do they stack up against each other?
