Tyron Woodley vs Paul Daley odds for Strikeforce event on July 30

Top up-and-coming prospect Tyron Woodley will finally get his chance to shine on the big stage when he steps up to challenge longtime mixed martial arts veteran Paul Daley on the main card of the Strikeforce: "Fedor vs. Henderson" event this Saturday night (July 30) in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

Woodley (8-0) is a former NCAA Division I All-American wrestler out of the University of Missouri and has finished six of his eight victims, including five by way of submission.

On paper, it's a classic grappler vs. striker match-up, which historically, Daley has struggled with in previous outings.

That may be part of the reason why "T-Wood" is the -280 betting favorite while "Semtex" gets to play the role of underdog for the second straight time under the Strikeforce banner at +220.

For Daley (27-10-2), who received a lifetime ban from UFC President Dana White for sucker-punching Josh Koscheck after their fight ended in 2010, this may be his final chance to compete for a major world title.

"Semtex" fell short in his bid to usurp the throne from Diaz in perhaps the most thrilling, back-and-forth first round in modern mixed martial arts (MMA) history back in April, but could be just one fight away from getting a second bite at the apple.

He just has to find a way to stop Woodley to do it.

Tyron Woodley (-280) vs. Paul Daley (+220) at Strikeforce: "Fedor vs. Henderson." Who ya' got and why?
