Lanky Dutch kickboxer Stefan Struve is fighting heavyweight fan-favorite Pat Barry at UFC on Versus 6 from the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 1, 2011.
That's the tall and short of it.
Struve (21-5) strung together back-to-back wins over Christian Morecraft (UFC 117) and Sean McCorkle (UFC 124) before getting knocked clean out by Travis Browne at the UFC 130 pay-per-view over the Memorial Day Weekend.
The "Skyscraper" is 5-3 under the Zuffa banner and widely considered one of the division's brighter prospects at just 23 years-old.
But his legs could be a prime target for the stocky strikes of Barry (6-3), who has finished three of his six wins via thunderous leg kicks.
The New Orleans native was on the cusp of a dominating win over Cheick Kongo at UFC on Versus 4 just last month. That is, until "HD" recklessly charged in like a bloodthirsty banshee and got put to sleep.
Cheick, mate.
The shocking defeat dropped Barry to 3-3 inside the Octagon, but did little to diminish his fan appeal -- and you can expect more "Hype" as we get closer to fight night.
UFC on Versus 6 will be headlined by a bantamweight title fight featuring champion Dominick Cruz trying to "Dominate" the division's mightiest mouse, challenger Demetrious Johnson.
Other match-ups currently set for the Oct. 1 card include a welterweight war between Anthony Johnson and Charlie Brenneman, as well as a long awaited rematch pitting Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman.
