The only way Cung Le is saying goodbye to Hollywood is if he's saying hello to the UFC.

The former Strikeforce middleweight champion is grateful for everything the promotion did for him throughout his mixed martial arts (MMA) career, but he's ready to move on to bigger things.

If that's continuing his film career, fine. But he's got his sights set on competing inside the Octagon and he knows exactly where he wants to do it -- UFC 138 on Nov. 19 in San Jose:

"I know for a fact that if I do fight again, it's going to be in the UFC. I've never fought in the UFC, but I would love to fight in the UFC. But right now because of my contract with Showtime and Strikeforce, hopefully things can work out because there is a show in San Jose that Cain Velasquez is the main event. I would love to fight in San Jose for the UFC and for Dana White and Lorenzo (Fertitta)."

As of yet, only Nick Diaz has figured out a way to finagle his way into the UFC. Can Le convince the powers that be he's worth the time it would take to work it out with Showtime to get him on pay-per-view (PPV) later this year?

Hear from the former kickboxing star about his upcoming movie with Jean-Claude Van Damme, his future and more after the jump.
