Ivan Menjivar vs. Nick Pace (135-pound limit)

Round one: Menjivar, who came in three pounds over the bantamweight limit, looks fast and fresh. Pace presses and Menjivar lands a head kick. Ivan lands a right hand. Not a lot of action and Menjivar lands an errant kick that hits Pace straight in the family jewels. That was nasty. After the reset, Pace misses a head kick. Rogan is talking about more effective cups, like a steel cup that rides up the crack of your ass. He's actually talking about this. While he's yapping about fighters groin areas, Pace gets a takedown and passes to half. Takes Menjivars back with both hooks in. Menjivar stands up with Pace on top of his back and doing work. He's got the rear-naked choke real close. Ivan manages to get out. Finally, Menjivar gets him off but too little too late. Pace is going to take the first round just on that sequence. 10-9 Pace

Round two: Menjivar opens with leg kicks. Pace answers with one of his own. Much slower pacing in the second frame. Ton of exchanging but not a lot of meaningful action. Menjivar attacks a covering Pace against the fence. Nothing real big. Nick is definitely "pacing" himself. Yeah, I did it, so what. Pace gets a nice double leg takedown with about a minute to go. Immediately moves to half guard. He's got Ivan's arm pinned down. Menjivar scoots out his hips and turns over. Pace postures up and lands a few shots just before the round ends. That one is iffy. 10-9 Menjivar

Round three: Menjivar pressing the action early. Pace is again starting slow, letting Ivan do what he wants and only throwing a straight jab. Misses badly when he puts a right hand behind it. Pace lands a nice left hand. Not a lot of urgency here. Menjivar finally pushes forward. DING, another shot straight to the nutsack. Feeling bad for Pace right now. Two minutes to go and they're back to the slow crawl. Menjivar puts a few punches together with a nice body kick. Pace lands a knee and hurts Menjivar enough that he's running away. Looks like Menjivar got hit in the eye and he can't see. Pace is rushing him big. JUST misses a spinning back fist. Menjivar is running away. Only 20 seconds left, though. Pace finally finds him and starts throwing bombs. Misses a flying knee and the round ends. 10-9 Pace

Final result: Ivan Menjivar def. Nick Pace via unanimous decision

Johny Hendricks vs. Mike Pierce (170-pound limit)

Pressed out and Pierce lands an inside kick that Hendricks responds with one of his own. Hendricks rushes in and gets real low to get the takedown. Couldn't keep Pierce down, though, as he's right back to his feet. Body kick lands from Johny. Pierce pushes in and misses a left. Hendricks gets aggressive and lands a couple shots. Elbow from Pierce as they break. Big knee looks like it just missed. Back to the clinch game. The heavily promoted Chael Sonnen gets a shout from Goldie as being a member of Pierce's corner. Head kick misses from Pierce. Hendricks lands a shot and misses another knee. He looks faster and more crisp. 10-9 Hendricks

Round two: Pierce comes out fast and furious with plenty of punches in bunches. Not a lot of accuracy until a short clinch in which he landed a head-snapping uppercut. Hendricks backs up and Pierce has him against the cage now. They trade straight shots. Head kick from Johny. Pierce defends a takedown and instead pushes Hendricks up against the cage. Not enough action for Mario Yamasaki and he restarts the two in the center. Brief exchange leads right back to the clinch. Pierce has a guillotine attempt but can't lock it in. Nice shot lands. Big knee from Hendricks while Pierce covers up. Big exchange of combinations that neither fighter got the better of. Hendricks drives through for a takedown but Pierce masterfully sprawls and avoids. He is up against the fence with Hendricks still attacking a single leg. The round ends this way. 10-9 Hendricks

Round three: Pierce throws a quick shot after the fist bump. Hendricks looked like he didn't like that too much. Hendricks doing some nice work in the clinch but the pace has slowed considerably. Another stalemate. Pierce misses bad on a left hand and they go back to the clinch game. Pierce looking for the takedown but Hendricks gets out of trouble, albeit briefly. Finally, Pierce grabs a double and powerfully slams Hendricks to the mat. Hendricks works rubber guard. Pierce still working on top before what appears to be an illegal upkick. The reset and Hendricks lands a big knee. Pierce answers with a few uppercuts. Hendricks spins and grabs a leg, working hard for the takedown. The round ends with Hendricks still working the leg. Wide looping punches from Paul that miss. Left hand lands for Bradley. Slow exchanges with lots of footwork, advantage Natal. Bradley is bleeding a bit of out his nose. Jumps in and lands a couple shots but Natal backs away. First takedown attempt fails. Another failed attempt by Bradley after an exchange. Kick misses and Bradley still can't get him down on the bumrush. 0 for 3. Natal is landing leg kicks the whole way and Bradley has a big red spot on his left leg. Bradley catches a kick briefly and counters with a big right hand. Nicely done. Didn't capitalize, though, and the round comes to a close. Close one. 10-9 Natal

Round two: Natal is out again throwing leg kicks and Bradley starts throwing bombs. He lands a big one and uses it to finally get a takedown. That was perfect. Bradley has him down now, passing to half guard. Natal has wrist control while Paul works hard to pass to side control. Natal goes for the sweep and Bradley just steps out. That was bad. Very few points scored on the ground there. The punches and takedown are greatly in his favor, though. Natal answers on the reset with a few punches. Back to the kicks. Camera gets in close on Bradley's legs and they are an ugly shade of red. He's getting chopped down. Big punch misses, Natal gets low but the takedown isn't there and they reset. Natal controlling range now. Errant shot leads to short lull. Bradley gets another takedown shortly after the restart and that's how the round ends. 10-9 Bradley

Round three: Natal pushes in to start the third and Bradley clips him. Did nothing with it, again. More kicks from Natal. Inside kick. Natal's reach advantage is a bit too much to overcome for Bradley. He misses a few takedowns. Shoots in again for the double leg and Natal with brilliant takedown defense. Lands a knee and a few shots on the way out and Rafael is just dominating this fight now. Defensively, but he's dominating. Bradley pushes Natal up against the cage and the crowd boos the inactivity. Ref restarts them and Bradley is gone. Looks tired as can be. Natal kicks the leg but Bradley times it perfectly and gets the takedown. Natal gets right back to his feet and with one minute left, this is all "Sapo." Another failed takedown from Bradley leads to a clinch that gets booed after about two seconds. The fight ends and it's clear who the winner is here. 10-9 Natal

Final result: Rafael Natal def. Paul Bradley via unanimous decision

Brown grabs him up and takes him down. Got his back and landing punches. Brown all over him with punches. Phan is just eating every shot. Not a ton of damage being done, but it accumulates. Same position for a bit now. Phan is just surviving on the floor while eating shots. More of the same with Brown improving his position and Phan looks like he's bleeding. Phan is STILL locked up against the cage and eating punches and now elbows. Brown is absolutely dominating. Finally, Phan gets to his feet but there's only 20 seconds left. Brown gets a takedown to finish the round. Big round for MTB. 10-8 Brown

Round two: Brown comes out early going for the takedown again. Phan is defending well but Brown is relentless in his attack. Finally back to the feet and reset and Phan has opened up. He's finally get some offense in of his own, as opposed to the domination of the first round. Brown again pushes in for the takedown and has Phan against the cage. Finishes the job but Phan gets right back to his feet. Brown with a big overhand right that just misses its mark. Phan pushes forward and lands a looping left hook. He's not afraid to engage, that's for damn sure. Brown misses a few punches and again goes for the takedown with Phan defending. Brown looks just a bit more tired than Phan. Still not 100-percent? Round ends and it was still close. 10-9 Phan
