Last night, May 28, 2011, at UFC 130 in Las Vegas, Quinton Jackson defeated Matt Hamill via unanimous decision after three rounds in which he brutalized "The Hammer."

But some feel it may not have been enough to earn him the title shot he was promised if he was to come away victorious.

That's because, while Jackson was dominant, the boo birds showered the arena with their shrill cries of boredom at the slothful pace of the 15-minute contest.

Of course, it was also necessary that he come away healthy and that may or may not be the case. "Rampage" alluded to a hand injury in the post-fight interview and that has yet to be checked out, although he says he's ready to fight Jon Jones for the light heavyweight title right away.

But does he deserve it, even if he is healthy? Or should the shot go to Lyoto Machida, who front kicked Randy Couture's teeth straight out of his face at UFC 129 just last month?
