UFC 129 results: Georges St. Pierre's eye injury after Jake Shields fight

The above picture was taken directly after the horn sounded on the Georges St. Pierre vs. Jake Shields main event fight at UFC 129 last night (April 30, 2011) in Toronto. The welterweight champ was unable to attend the post-fight press conference, as he was immediately taken to the hospital.

Shortly after, he tweeted the following:

"Hey everybody, leaving the hospital soon, just finished all my eye tests, I still don't see anything from my left eye but I'll be (fine). Thanks for the support!!"

In the post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, "Rush" claimed he could not see after he was hit in the eye, although a second viewing shows that it was a vicious poke preceding a clinch from Shields.
