Programming reminder: 'Countdown to UFC 129' debuts tonight (April 26) on Spike TV

Countdown to UFC 129: "St. Pierre vs. Shields" will debut TONIGHT at midnight ET (early Weds.) on Spike TV to promote the upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada, on Saturday, April 30, 2011.

The network special will provide a glimpse into the preparation and training camps of the fighters set to headline the show, featuring current UFC Welterweight Champion Georges "Rush" St. Pierre and division number one contender Jake Shields.

UFC.com currently lists the replay of "Countdown to UFC 129" at the following times:

Thursday, April 28 at 3 p.m. on Spike TV.
Thursday, April 28 at 7 p.m. on Versus.
Friday, April 29 at 12 a.m. ET on Versus.
Saturday, April 30 at 6 p.m. ET on Spike TV.

"St. Pierre vs. Shields" will also feature a co-main event between WEC Featherweight Champion Jose "Junior" Aldo and 145-pound title contender Mark "The Machine" Hominick.

Also getting their hands dirty in Toronto are former 205-pound champions Randy "The Natural" Couture and Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida.
