Yet another lightweight battle is brewing for the UFC 132 fight card set to go down on July 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Andre Winner will do battle against Anthony Njokuani, as passed along by MMAWeekly.com, likely on the un-aired portion of the preliminary card, in what could be a veritable loser leaves town match.

That's because Winner has lost his last two fights, while Njokuani is in the midst of a skid that includes three losses over the past year.

The saving grace for both could be their penchant for thrilling back-and-forth wars. Winner, who trains out of Team Rough House and is a former Ultimate Fighter finalist, might be 2-3 in his Octagon career but he brings two very heavy hands with him to the cage on fight night.

Count Dana White among his fans but a third consecutive loss would make it increasingly difficult to justify his employment with the world's largest fight promotion.

Njokuani is in the same boat, seeing as he's only found the win column one time since Dec. 2009. His struggles include losing three of his last four bouts, including his UFC debut against Edson Barboza just last month.

However, before this latest skid, "The African Assassin" ripped off three consecutive wins, all of which earned him "Knockout of the Night" honors.

Combined with the explosive nature of Winner, we might be in for one hell of a show, Maniacs.

Get your popcorn ready.

UFC 132 features a main event between Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz and his 135-pound arch enemy, Urijah Faber. Ryan Bader and Tito Ortiz are also expected to hit the mat in a light heavyweight bout.

Also on the card are match-ups pitting Melvin Guillard against Shane Roller, George Sotiropoulos vs. Evan Dunham and Dennis Siver vs. Matt Wiman.
