Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) may be close to tying a ribbon around its UFC 143 fight card after adding yet another welterweight scrap to the upcoming pay-per-view event on Feb. 4, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Former Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 3 finalist Ed Herman, who has sewn together back-to-back wins after returning from a devastating knee injury, will look to quell the uprising of unbeaten division prospect and UFC sophomore Clifford Starks.
UFC.com has the details:
Undefeated Clifford Starks has verbally agreed to put his 8-0 record on the line against Ed "Short Fuse" Herman in a middleweight matchup at UFC 143. Starks made his UFC debut with a decision win over Dustin Jacoby in October; Herman's last two performances included a 48-second TKO and a devastating heel-hook victory.
