Looks like Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) may have picked up an additional welterweight match-up for its UFC on FX 2 event on March 3, 2012, scheduled for the AllPhones Arena in Sydney, Australia.
That's because promotion sophomore Jake Hecht recently announced he's been paired off against Texas grappler T.J. Waldburger for the upcoming event "Down Under."
From his official Twitter account:
Just confirmed my next fight for march 3 in sydney, australia vs tj waldburger. Back on the diet and hard training after the new year.
Hecht's Octagon debut was a smashing success following a second round technical knockout win over Rich Attonito earlier this month to push his record to 11-2 with eight finishes. Waldburger was also victorious his last time out, improving to 14-6 after strangling MIke Stumpf at UFC Fight Night 25 last September.
UFC on FX 2 will feature a welterweight headliner between Martin Kampmann and Thiago Alves as well as the opening round of the promotion's inaugural four-man flyweight tournament, featuring Demetrious Johnson vs. Ian McCall and Joseph Benavidez vs. Yasuhiro Urushitani.
Here's what the March 3 line-up looks like thus far:

170 lbs.: Thiago Alves vs. Martin Kampmann
