UFC on FX 2: Court McGee vs Constantinos Philippou on tap for March 3 in Australia

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has booked a middleweight mash-up between Court McGee (14-1) and Constantinos Philippou (9-2) for its UFC on FX 2 event on March 3, 2012, scheduled for the AllPhones Arena in Sydney, Australia.

UFC.com has it:

Verbal agreements are in for a dynamic matchup between hard-hitting middleweights Constantinos Philippou and Court ‘The Crusher’ McGee for March 3. TUF 11 winner Court McGee most recently decisioned the ultra-tough Dongi Yang, while Philippou is coming off a blistering first-round knockout win at UFC 140.

UFC on FX 2 will feature a welterweight headliner between Martin Kampmann and Thiago Alves as well as the opening round of the promotion's inaugural four-man flyweight tournament, featuring Demetrious Johnson vs. Ian McCall and Joseph Benavidez vs. Yasuhiro Urushitani.

170 lbs.: Thiago Alves vs. Martin Kampmann

125 lbs.: Demetrious Johnson vs. Ian McCall
